This kit explores the Kingdom of Morocco, in North Africa.  It's a wildly colourful and spectacularly diverse country. It’s famous for its ancient medinas, souks, palaces, stunning architecture, festivals and friendly people. They are also known for their countless art and craft specialities handed down through the generations which we’ll explore in the kit. Full of colour, warmth and charm, Morocco overflows with beauty, from the dramatic Atlas Mountains stretching throughout the country, to the sparkling azure sea contrasting with the yellows and golds of the desert sands and the villages and cities bursting with multi-coloured architecture. They'll learn about the indigenous Berber people and their many traditional and colourful crafts. Morocco is also home to some super cute AND super deadly animals that the kids will love learning about too. The kit is crammed full of activities to go wild with colour and design. The projects include - animal puppets, creating their own kasbah, tile making, much more! The photos show how much the kids enjoy making some of the project in this kit.

All activities designed in Australia by Crafty Kids Club. The packaging is from recycled plastic and recyclable cardboard.  The recycled plastic, zip lock packets are reusable as is the box. Where possible most of the paper contents can be reused or recycled.  No plastic toys or 'gimmicks' - just lots of craft fun!

Our kits are designed for 6-10 year olds to learn about the people, endangered and native animals that live there, interesting geography and landmarks, festivals, famous architecture and a little bit of history – all through the art of making using mixed media techniques.

No matter the skill level, each child can make the most from each activity and complete them at the level they are at.  They'll be thrilled with what they come up with! The activities are designed for the basic to the experienced skill level.  Advanced kids will know how to 'take it to the next level' based on their interest, their imaginations and the length of time they like to focus.

Activities range from 20 minutes up to 3 hours to complete depending on level of capability and focus.  Each project has a suggested time scale and challenge level identified.  It can be a  fun-filled, day of activities for kids that love to do craft. Or the activities can be broken up over a few hours every day.  What they make they can also play with for days e.g. masks, paper villages, puppets etc

Minimal, if any, adult helping hands required. The kids are encouraged to try to do things themselves and also invited to ask for a hand if they need it.
