Make your own Konichiwa Kokeshi Doll
Another real favourite from our workshops are our gorgeous Kokeshi Dolls.
Kokeshi are simple, handmade wooden dolls enjoyed as a toy by Japanese kids for more than 150 years as one of many Japan’s folk arts. With this craft kit, your child will be inspired to use their creativity and crafting skills to make their very own Kokeshi doll using mixed media techniques.
This activity will keep your child occupied for at least an hour or two. With the extra tips we give them they can make more than one with supplies they can find at home. They can create a whole family of dolls if they are inspired!
The kit includes EVERYTHING you need.
